By: Peter Capotosto Excited by the prospect of sailing in the 25 knots that blew all week long, Windsurfers gathered to battle it out for the Governors cup in three divisions. The fickle wind played Fortunately, by Sunday afternoon, there ws enough wind to hold a race. But wouldn't you just know it!. The course and timing set the fleet to cross the Hobie fleet as the Hobies rounded their windward mark! Did anybody get any pictures of that!?? About a dozen windsurfers sailing at right angles thru a fleet of 16 Hobies! It was exciting- not to mention noisy out there!! In the end, the results stood as follows:
